Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £25K per annum
Location: Chandlers Ford
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and growing company based in Chandlers Ford. The successful Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, dispatching, and documenting goods.
Main Duties of the Warehouse Operative
- Receive and unload boxes and pallets into the warehouse.
- Unload, unpack, and check all goods and equipment received for defects, damages, and correct part numbers.
- Count parts and update the database to mark items as received.
- Repack orders for export, noting weights and dimensions, and ensure correct shipping labels are attached.
- Ensure orders and shipments are in the correct dispatch bays.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy whilst maintaining and enforcing Health & Safety processes.
Key competencies of the Warehouse Operative
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- A valid Forklift license or ability to operate is essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills for inventory management.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and consistency of output

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
