As a QC (Quality) technician as part of a global team and working with the quality coordinator you will be carrying out routine tasks as part of the laboratory team in an aseptic environment including environmental monitoring, testing of raw materials, in-process QC checks, packaging and final product QC release and testing effluent batches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environmental monitoring, testing of raw materials, in-process QC checks, packaging and final product QC release and testing effluent batches.
  • Follow the QC work schedule to ensure nothing is missed, liaising with Quality Coordinator.
  • Assist in the inputting and maintenance of all QC data and provide historical data and information to the relevant teams, while ensuring information protection.
  • Follow all Company's procedures focusing on the customer and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the laboratory environment is kept clean and organized following site established procedures while promoting the Company's safety and quality approach to safeguard our products, people, and environment.

Qualifications and Skills.

  • Background in Biological sciences, or Microbiology Bioengineering, Bioprocess engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology.
  • Lab experience is key, or industry in production environments such as brewing, food beverage, pharma - anywhere it would be sterile / aseptic
  • Knowledge and experience of Aseptic techniques - keeping things sterile, not introducing contaminations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) skills.
  • Computer literacy is essential (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with SAP or similar business software would also be advantageous.
