Position: Cover Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Oversee classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment
- Implement pre-prepared lessons and activities following the teacher's guidelines
- Manage classroom conduct and enforce school policies regarding behaviour and discipline
- Provide assistance and guidance to students as necessary to support their learning progress
- Monitor student engagement and participation during lessons, relaying feedback to the teacher upon their return
- Handle administrative duties like attendance taking and material distribution as required
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support colleagues to maintain continuity in the absence of the regular teacher
- Report on student behaviour and performance to the teacher upon their return
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support lunchtime supervision and contribute to student welfare initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Uphold and promote a positive school culture by demonstrating respectful behaviour and attitudes
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred but not mandatory
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students and staff
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Adaptability and flexibility to work across different subjects and age groups
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions
- Dedication to supporting student learning and well-being
