If you have a passion for retail and exceptional customer service, this role is perfect for you. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to inspire, manage, and develop a small team, driving sales and profitability while ensuring outstanding customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Inspire and lead a small store team to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Ensure the store operates smoothly and is visually appealing.
- Train team members to become product experts, enhancing their ability to maximise sales opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
- Implement creative ways to enhance the customer shopping experience and store performance.
- Engage in activities like handling products, including lifting tiles and managing deliveries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven retail management experience with a track record of exceeding sales and profit targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support team members.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create memorable shopping experiences.
- Creative flair, ideally with an interest in interior design, to assist customers in making style choices.
- Business acumen with a strategic approach to competition and store uniqueness.
- Physical ability to handle merchandise, including lifting and storage tasks.
