Purchase Ledger Assistant

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a growing business with offices near Eastbourne. Our client seeks a temporary Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Assistant on an ongoing temporary/contract basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for a range of purchase ledger related duties.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes on a timely basis
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Ad hoc ledger analysis in support for the budgets and forecasts
  • Prepaying payment runs
  • Ad hoc support across the finance department

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within accounts payable/purchase ledger
  • Ability to start on short or immediate notice.
  • AAT or relevant accounting/finance related degree (desired, not essential)
  • Ability to commute to offices on a daily basis.
