Sea Global are proud to be partnering with one of the largest Financial Services Groups in the world. They are currently in the midst of a huge transformation, which has resulted in this exciting, brand new, Procurement Analyst vacancy.

They are looking for someone to come in a provide assistance in establishing and transforming a new Procurement Division within the bank. This role reports directly into the Procurement Manager who you will be working really closely with.

Ideally from a Banking or Financial Services background but they are open to people from other industries if you have a good base of end-to-end procurement experience.

The role is greenfield, providing a very exciting opportunity for someone to come in and be involved in a brand-new procurement function for a world leading Financial Services Corporation.

The role is initially on a 12-month FTC, with the view to go permanent.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will deliver end-to-end procurement including Strategic Sourcing, Contract management, Spend Analysis and Reporting, Supplier Performance Monitoring, Procurement Policy Compliance, Change Management, and Vendor Risk Management:
  • Organise, attend and participate in supplier meetings including contractual negotiations, service reviews and incident management calls.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives by ensuring that all purchasing activities are priced fairly and appropriately.
  • Track OPEX and CAPEX expenditures to report as part of monthly metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulations
  • Support the Procurement Manager in creating new procurement policies and procedures

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience across end-to-end procurement across a range of indirect categories
  • Ideally from the Banking or Financial Services industry but this is not essential
  • Experienced working with contract management tools and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Ideally will be degree and CIPS qualified
