Business Banking Complaint Handler

Huntswood is looking for Complaint Handlers with business banking complaints experience to join an exciting project for a large retail bank, with immediate starts available.

As a Complaint Handlers you will provide a high-quality service to customers by resolving their complaints in a timely manner. Using your skills and experience of business banking products and complaints you will investigate the customers complaints to a high level and communicate the resolution in a bespoke letter and over the telephone.

Role overview:

Start Date: September 2024

Day Rate: £28,000 to £34000 DOE - Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this

Location: Pendeford Business Park - Hybrid working available after induction training

Working hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00-18:00

As a Complaints Handler you will be:

  • Provide a high quality service to customers by resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  • Use a dedicated complaint handling system to support your delivery of the right outcome to customers, making sure your decision is clear, justified and audited accordingly.
  • Interrogate various systems with an inquisitive mind to gather information to support your decision, raising suggestions for improving the customer journey.
  • Prepare bespoke letters to support clear and compliant communication with our customers.

The Complaints Handler will have:

  • A minimum of 12 months financial services complaint handling experience including writing bespoke final response letters
  • Business Banking product experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of FCA and FOS regulations surrounding complaints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to take and make calls to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience of provide feedback and guidance when required about the complaints process
  • Commitment to work at client's office in Pendeford Business Park
  • Ability to work independently as well as being able to work as a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
