Human Resources Administrator
- Annual Salary: £16,800 - £18,000 pro rata (FTE £28,000 - £30,000)
- Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (with travel throughout Scotland and Northumberland on occasion)
- Job Type: Part-time // 21hrs // 3 days
I am working exclusively with an established organisation in Edinburgh, who is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join their dedicated team. This role is crucial in providing high standards of service and support to colleagues, assisting in the smooth operation of the HR function. Day-to-day of the role:
- Monitor and manage the HR and recruitment inbox, responding or escalating queries as appropriate.
- Provide accurate and timely HR support and take notes during meetings.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting jobs on Indeed, issuing formal offers, and managing all related documentation such as contracts, references, and disclosures.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes and follow up with team leaders regarding probation updates and issue end of probation letters.
- Review monthly absence reports, follow up on missing return to work forms, and support team leaders with absence review meetings.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee records, converting all information to a digital format and following up on any missing information.
- Liaise with financial advisors to update monthly new starts and leavers and assist in arranging new start and annual review meetings.

- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise workload, manage own time effectively, and take ownership of projects and tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion.
- Must have a driving licence.
