Home Ownership Officer
- Hourly Rate: £18.40 PAYE
- Location: Liverpool (with travel to Manchester)

As a Home Ownership Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing a customer-focused account management service to shared ownership and leasehold customers, including commercial properties. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of leasehold legislation and a passion for delivering exceptional service to customers.
Day to day of the role:
- Provide account management services to shared ownership and leasehold customers within a specified geographical region.
- Ensure contractual obligations as defined in individual leases and tenancy agreements are carried out in line with legislative requirements and compliance and Group standards.
- Manage service charge financial activities effectively, including budget planning, the service charge setting consultation process, and reviews of scheme expenditure.
- Act as an advocate for customers, ensuring their expectations are maintained and they receive appropriate levels of service.
- Manage Caretakers within the specified region to ensure the delivery of effective services to Home Ownership customers on behalf of the Group.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of leasehold legislation, regulations, and standards, including Section 20 requirements.
- CIOH partial/fully qualified or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and remain results-driven.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information.
- Experience in providing meaningful management information.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence to interact with employees at all levels.
