What you will be doing...

  • Working with key stakeholders to understand the complex, high volume, end to end P2P processes and associated accounting treatment and reporting requirements.
  • Provide weekly insight and analysis on our P2P activity to drive focused activity to ensure costs are correctly coded which supports our focus on the quality of accounting.
  • Monitoring of service level agreements including KPI reporting to monitor service delivery against these agreements.
  • Monitor cost coding and reclass where original PO coded to incorrect nominal. Provide the Operators insight in to issues and drive automation / system improvements to limit these issues.
  • Co-ordinate communication of Open Orders and outstanding Intrays across the Central and Park teams and drive activity that reduces outstanding items and unresolved queries.
  • Review and approval of utility billing for the estate in line with approved pricing.
  • Work with the operational stakeholders who manage the day to day running of the ledgers to ensure all data flows are accurate and provide recommendations where issues occur or for process improvements.
  • Support improvements in the business IT and finance systems – particularly in relation to efficiency and ease of use for operators and specifically eradicating manual processes and eliminating the risk of material error.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly reporting is provided to the business in an accurate manner to the deadlines set.

Some of the skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of high volume transactional process management
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to high quality and excellent customer service
  • Experience in process improvements – timeliness, accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Flexible and the ability to work in pressurised situations and deliver a quality product to agreed timescales
