Compliance Specialist - Mergers & Acquisitions | Insurance Broker | London/Hybrid | £70 - 80,000 (doe)
Finitas are supporting a growing insurance broker in their search for a Compliance Specialist to work on their Mergers & Acquisitions. This is a newly created role due to good company growth!
Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for preparing upcoming mergers. You will be handling due diligence on smaller, straightforward deals, which will include liaising with the Mergers & Acquisitions team, lawyers, and other external parties for queries and updates. You will also support the FCA application process and post-completion, you will be responsible for building and overseeing the integration plan, working closely with the business to ensure a smooth transition.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years compliance experience.
- Must have experience of mergers and acquisitions within the insurance industry.
- Must be from an insurance background - ideally Lloyd's broking.
- Excellent working knowledge of the FCA handbook.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at varying levels.
Please note that you will be required to work in their London office 2/3 days per week.
