Job Opportunity: Trusts Manager
Location: Sevenoaks
Overview:
We are working with a top 50 law firm in Sevenoaks that is keen to recruit a Trusts Manager to join its Tax & Trusts Team, part of the Private Client Advisory group.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
- Administering a portfolio of trusts on behalf of trustee clients
- Preparation of trust income tax returns, capital gains tax filings, and inheritance tax accounts
- Drafting annual trust accounts using specialist accounting software
- Trust administration, including liaising with trustees and professional advisors
- Preparing and submitting FATCA, CRS, and Trust Registration Service (TRS) filings
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in personal tax, tax compliance, and trust administration
Skills:
- Knowledge of Inheritance Tax and tax planning for trusts
- Experience working in a client-facing role, liaising with HMRC and third parties such as banks and stockbrokers
- Strong understanding of accounts practices and tax return preparation
- STEP, ATT, or ACCA qualifications (or similar) are highly desirable
