Reporting Accountant

Are you a technical accountant who loves getting stuck into consolidations? Are you looking for an FTC? Are you available to start asap?

Your new company I am working with an amazing, global insurance company that is looking for a Reporting Accountant to help the finance department on a 6-month contract to help with BAU and group consolidation. They are looking for an energetic, hands-on person who is willing to take on a new challenge, learn new tools and process quickly, be able to work autonomously and play a crucial part in improving existing processes.

Your new role

  • Preparation of quarterly and monthly account reconciliations and consolidations of entities, complex transactions and looking at IFRS16 adjustments
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Balance sheet journals for business as usual for business entities
  • Processing and reviewing the consolidation process

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience working in the insurance sector, Lloyds market experience would be ideal
  • Experience with consolidation processes and procedures
  • Experience with UK GAAP, IFRS, Microsoft Excel, PeopleSoft
