Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Stockton
Pay Rate: £400 - £430 per day via Umbrella PAYE
Duration: 12 Months
I am currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a great Tier 1 client based in Stockton.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of mechanical engineering documentation for area and systems.
- Responsible for production and/or modification of engineering design deliverables that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.
- Produce collated packages of engineering deliverables that are required to carry out construction/installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.
- Provide engineering support to the manufacturer of procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.
- Experience of legislation compliance such as Machineries regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure and O&M manuals.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
- Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.
- Familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents
- Supply chain (Vendor) support.
- Nuclear experience preferred working on Sellafield projects, or other highly regulated industry.
- The ability to obtain BPSS clearance is essential for continuance in the role.
- SC security clearance is preferred.
