Finance Manager

Our exclusive client based in Bolton are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to deal with the day to day accounting for the business. This construction company requires an experienced individual who has a good working knowledge of accounting and is confident to be the main point of contact for the day to day duties.

Duties include:

  • Managing the purchase ledger from inputting invoices, dealing with queries and paying suppliers
  • Credit control and sales ledger
  • Produce monthly management accounts
  • HMRC statutory returns i.e. PAYE, CIS, VAT
  • Cash flow management
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing all financial information and liaise with the accountant in relation to statutory annual accounts
  • Cover payroll in the absence of HR

The ideal candidate will have previously been in a stand alone finance position and be used to being the main point of contact for the day to day accounting as well as the month end accounts. Someone with construction industry background would be ideal but is not essential.
