Responsibilities:

As a CNC Miller, you will utilise your expertise to perform the following tasks, in line with safety standards and customer requirements:

  • Operate and programme Mazak machines, utilising Mazatrol programming
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate production
  • Inspect finished products to verify dimensions and quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on machine tools and equipment
  • Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and tolerances for each job
  • Collaborate with colleagues in planning the most efficient sequence of operations
  • Adhere to quality and technical guidelines to meet customer expectations

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, preferably with Mazak machines
  • Strong knowledge of milling processes and materials properties
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with Live tooling and Mazatrol programming is highly advantageous
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in work
  • Commitment to following safe work practises
