Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a dynamic team of educators at a school in Northwich. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the exciting field of Design and Technology, fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore and experiment with various DT concepts
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum and incorporate innovative teaching methods
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design and Technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
