Senior Brand Manager

You will have responsibility for continuing to develop and build our strategy and executions in line with our brand positioning across all consumer & shopper touchpoints to build our brand, as well as taking responsibility for the biggest year of innovation.

Description

  • Strategy Development: Own annual brand planning (SWOT, Strategy, Objectives, Execution recommendations). Continue to build, develop and implement our 5 year "Transform" strategy covering all elements of the marketing mix and aligned with overall business objectives and brand vision.
  • Brand Management: Embed our new global brand positioning and look and feel across all consumer touchpoints - pack, POS, comms. Ensure "best in class" design principles and on time, smooth launch execution.
  • Campaign Development and Management: Develop a motivating comms platform to embed our brand positioning to our consumers and shoppers working with our global creative agency. Plan, execute, and optimize 360-degree marketing campaigns, including digital, shopper/in store, VOD. Oversee social media and influencer marketing (dotted line in from global team). Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise future initiatives.
  • Innovation & Product Launches: Lead go-to-market strategies for our 2025 new product launches, including pricing, promotion, packaging, distribution, and communication plans. Have tenacity and pace to get things done and be able to lead cross functional teams and influence at a senior level internally and with global. Own the stage and gate documentation for innovation from both UK and global process perspective.
  • Pricing and promotional analysis: With our finance co-pilot evaluate the ROI for our price promotions across accounts and asses our performance vs competitors. Make recommendations for where we can improve to maximise share gain whilst balancing profit.
  • Analysis & Insight: Analyse and interpret data on the brand, market, competitors, industry and consumer insights to identify opportunities and threats and turn insight into recommended actions.
  • Team Leadership: Line manage our Assistant Brand Manager and support our shared global resource of Social Media Manager. Ensuring the ABM has SMART objectives, a quality development plan and support and challenge he/she to be the best they can be in line with our values.
  • Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with functions across the UK and global business including sales, product development, supply chain, and global marketing. Demonstrate best in class leadership behaviour and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Agency Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with our agency partners: creative, media, shopper, social and visual identity. Track performance and hold to account

Profile

  • Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience in launching innovation - delivering with pace and influencing diverse stakeholders
  • Experience comms creative development with execution across in store/shopper, digital and social
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - able to influence and engage at all levels
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple projects, and work under tight deadlines.
