Your new role
This role is a full-time position based on site in Sheffield, working Monday to Friday. You will be on hand to provide essential accounts support to the finance team through duties such as:
- Credit Control - Emailing monthly statements and chasing debtors for payment.
- Invoice Management - Entering purchase invoices and generating invoices.
- Receipt Handling - Entering and sorting receipts.
- Payment Reconciliation - Reconciling incoming payments from the website on Sage Line 50.
- Office Administration - Performing various clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails, and bookkeeping.
What you'll need to succeed
- We are looking for someone with previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is ideal, but we will consider experience with other software such as QuickBooks, Workday, PeopleSoft, and Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- The ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues on finance projects.
