HGV Class 2 Driver - Permanent
40 HOURS PER WEEK - THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE 1 OR 2 NIGHTS OUT PER WEEK
**ANNUAL SALARY BETWEEN: £31,000 - £35,000
Night allowance £26.00 plus secure parking

Rates of Pay
- £14.00PH - Days 5.00AM - 6.00PM
- £16.00PH - After 40 Hours
- £15.00PH - Nights 6.00PM - 5.00AM
Day to Day Duties
- Safely operate and drive to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck
- Collaborate with dispatchers and logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules
- Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries
Essential Skills
- Proficient in commercial driving techniques and practices
- Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
Desirable Experience
- Tail lift operation: one year preferred
- Pump truck operation: one year preferred
- Stack truck operation : one year preferred
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
