Accounts Assistant

Due to the expansion my client is looking for an accounts assistant to join their small team in Stoke on Trent. The business is growing and the position may lead to growth within the company over the next 2 years.

The Role

  • Management of the sales and purchase ledger
  • Communicating with clients and suppliers
  • Handling queries
  • Processing transactions and maintaining records and ledgers
  • Data Processing
  • Providing support to the Financial Controller
  • Other administrative tasks, call handling and general office duties

The Person

  • Previous experience with Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel & Word).
  • Experience with a similar role
