Property Manager in Kensington

Our client is an affluent property agency, an award winning business specialising in prime properties. They have a fantastic reputation with their HNW clients and looking for an experienced and talented Property Manager to join the team.

Your role as the Property Manager is to provide and oversee the day to day property management of the ‘Managed Property' portfolio assigned to you and as part of a team. You will be managing high net worth residential properties within prime Central London, providing an excellent standard of service and a professional and seamless service.

Salary:

£34,000 - £38,000 plus commission

Permanent | Full time

Location:

Kensington, West London. Office based with 1 day work from home available.

The role requires a driving licence and there is use of a pool car for the property management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Tenant Liaison:

  • Arrange general repairs and property related administrative tasks; Negotiate and resolve maintenance and damages issues between tenant and landlord;
  • Be the first point of contact for and maintain good communication with Landlords, Tenants and Contractors as well as the team at all times.
  • Prepare properties for check in and check out including handling all accounts and safety checks.
  • Process works orders, liaise with contractors to ensure the effective maintenance and refurbishments of managed properties.
  • Ensure property inspections achieve their objective and are effectively fed back to landlords.
  • Ensuring that all properties comply with current regulations, focusing on gas safeties, EICRs, EPCs etc...
  • Ensure the smooth termination and preparation for re-let of all managed properties.
  • Any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by management.

Compliance:

  • Adhering to all policies as stated in the employee handbook;
  • Undertaking any training deemed necessary by management;
  • Keeping up-to-date with all relevant legislation which relates to your department.

Ideal experience:

  • 2 years + Property Management experience.
  • Must have a clean UK Driver's licence.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, finds reward in providing excellent customer service and going above and beyond for clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and can manage multiple tasks, deadlines at one given time.
  • Confident liaising with suppliers, contractors, clients and tenants in person and over the phone.
  • Efficient and able to think on your feet.
  • Calm in challenging situations and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a good understanding of residential lettings and management compliance, legislation and procedures.
