Position Details
- Pay Rate: £84-£90 per day, depending on experience
- Start Date: September 2024
- Full-Time: Required for the entire academic year, with a possibility of extension
About You
As a successful Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support a high-achieving KS1 class in their progress and attainment
- Collaborate effectively with the class teacher
- Assist in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges
- Prepare teaching materials, set up equipment, and organize resources
- Build positive rapport with pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work collaboratively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices
Essential Requirements
- Excellent references supporting previous KS1 experience
- A CV covering your full employment history
- The right to work in the UK
- UK-based experience
All candidates must provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
