Description
The key responsibility of an Accounts Assistant will include:
- Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Complete purchase orders
- Complete financial reports on a regular basis and provide information to the finance team
- Assist with budgets
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Assist the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
- Post transactions
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Experience working in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially MS excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
