Block Manager

Next Chapter Talent are assisting a very well-established property investment company in their search for an experienced Block Manager to manage 10 - 15 of their luxury Central London developments.

You can expect to adopt a wide range of residential blocks and estates comprising of new builds, purpose built and converted properties.

Our client seeks a highly experienced, service-oriented Block Manager, possessing exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of effectively managing Directors of RTMs & RMCs. You will thrive in a hands-on role, engaging directly with residents, fostering relationships, and cultivating strong connections throughout your assigned site.

You will leverage an innovative, forward-thinking approach in your management of resident communication, processes, and personnel.

You will have 3+ years' experience working within the Block Management arena and be able to clearly demonstrate your professional abilities and educated level of knowledge having obtained industry qualifications such as AIRPM/MIRPM.

This opportunity can be available to start immediately, with an extensive handover period scheduled upon joining, with the promise of full ongoing support provided from the current designated Property Manager.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of block operations
- Coordinate with property owners and tenants to address any concerns or issues
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for the block
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff and contractors
- Conduct regular inspections of the block to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
- Prepare reports on block operations for management

Requirements:

  • AIRPM/MIRPM status would be a bonus- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills- Proficient in using computer software for record keeping and reporting
  • 3+ solid years experience within Block management
