We are currently working in partnership with a leading tier one civil engineering company with locations across the UK. The position will involve working on an established telecoms network build contract.

Key Essentials

  • Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for delivering a fast paced turnkey telecoms network build contract
  • Management and delegation with subcontractors including operations, streetwork and commercial
  • Responsible for planning, design, performance management and process improvement to ensure efficient project operations
  • Management and reporting of KPI's with the client
  • Understanding contract scope and opportunities
  • Accountable for the delivery of work programmes, helping to drive delivery
  • Commercial awareness
  • Overseeing a heat map of issues with clients and being the main point of contact
  • Risk management with clients
  • Demonstrating performance and identifying improvement
  • Improving client perceptions

Requirements

  • Previous experience working at a senior level on telecoms network build is essential (PIA or Openreach)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to delegate at all levels across various departments
  • Strong operational management skills on network builds
