Maintenance Co-ordinator / Scheduler - 12month Contract

£25,000-28,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Office Hours; Mon-Fri - 8.30-5.30pm

Are you a highly organised individual with a passion for technical problem-solving? Our client, a market leader based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, is currently seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator / Scheudler to join their team on a fixed-term 12mth contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the smooth running of all equipment and facilities
  • Communicate with the engineers to ensure that they have all of the necessary information to undertake the task
  • Compile PPM Schedules for issue to clients and engineers
  • Track visits and where appropriate, confirm the next visit with the client
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
  • Managing external contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations and that planned site visits can be conducted
  • Scheduling Diary - Create and maintain tasks, events, and share information on calenders for work to be carried out by the Maintenance Service Engineers
  • Tracking and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs and inventory
  • Deal with breakdown callouts / requests from existing and new clients
  • Raise pro-forma invoices as required
  • Fleet Management - Ensure vehicle road tax payments are made & update the fleet management system.
  • Ensure all drivers have up to date vehicle tax and MOT's. Support employees with the booking of MOTs as required, ensuring follow ups are done to ensure they've taken place
  • Maintain DBS and CSCS records for Maintenance staff
  • Other administartion tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance / scheduling or facilities management role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry best practises and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
