You will be working in an industry leading, cross-functional team encompassing Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Analysis, Production Engineering, Prototyping and Reliability.

Senior Design Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Create design data including:
- 3D CAD modelling using SolidWorks.
- 2D critical dimension drawings including relevant use of GD&T
- Early-stage static simulation (Finite Element Analysis) where appropriate to support design decisions.
- 2D and 3D prototyping (using internal and external resources)
- Agree the mechanical, aesthetic, and ergonomic approach with the wider design team
- Liaise with Structural and Reliability Engineers to ensure detailed validation of the FEA is in-line with the relevant standards
Senior Design Engineer - Key Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience within a design engineering role
- Extensive experience working with aluminium
- Possesses a high level of CAD ideally with SolidWorks
- An understanding of, and ability to, calculate static and fatigue strength requirements of your designs.
