Chef de Partie

We are looking for a Chef de Partie with a background in fine dining for a smart independent boutique hotel and restaurant by the sea.

The hotel has 5 letting rooms and a 50-cover restaurant. Menus are fresh, seasonal, contemporary fine dining, modern European cuisine. There is also a full portfolio of weddings, private functions and events throughout the year. The Head Chef has a very craft-led approach to food, so everything is made in-house including nose to tail butchery, house pickles and ferments, desserts and pastry etc. The team is young, focused and work hard, standards throughout are high.

Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and reliable Chef de Partie with some experience in a similar busy fresh food environment, resilient and self-aware with a "can do" attitude and above all keen to learn.

Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
  • Relevant experience in a similar fresh food environment.
  • Professional Cookery level 2 or 3
  • Creative flair & attention to detail
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Meticulous, organised and punctual

5-day week , may include some breakfast shifts

Up to £15 an hour relevant to experience + service charge
