We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our client's team in Leicestershire. If you're passionate about sales and have a knack for building strong client relationships, this could be the perfect role for you.

The BDM is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, closing sales to achieve our clients company growth, You will work closely with the sales and the rest of the senior leadership team to ensure the company's products meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Trusted Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers across the UK.
  • Understand key customer needs and requirements in the pallets, cases, crates, dunnage, and bearers market.

Expand Customer Relationships:

  • Propose solutions to meet customer objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to sell additional products to existing customers.

Ensure Timely Delivery:

  • Work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Communication Link:

  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate customer feedback to improve products and services.

Resolve Issues:

  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Handle complaints to maintain customer trust and satisfaction.

Generate New Sales:

  • Drive new sales and develop long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK market.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, sales forecasts, and key account metrics.

About You:

  • Proven experience in business development role.
  • Strong understanding of the pallets, cases, crates, dunnage, and bearers market.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work closely with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
