My client is established in the heavy plant machinery repair business. They manufacture components and tools, carry out repairs and provide site-support. Due to increasing demand, they are looking to expand their field team with a Plant Engineer. The successful Candidate will have experience repairing heavy plant machinery. You must also have a Driving Licence and be happy to travel throughout the UK.
**Plant Engineer
Position Overview
- Carrying out fault finding, diagnosis, rectification and repair on a range of heavy plant machinery
- Mostly being field based carrying out repairs on-site, with some workshop required on occasion
- Filling out job sheets and logging any warranty repairs
- Collecting parts required for site repairs
- Speaking with clients on-site and understanding their requirements
- Co-ordinating with management to receive workload
- A family atmosphere in a company that is not too large and where the owners will know you by name
**Plant Engineer
Position Requirements
- Qualified to level 2 in mechanical engineering, or time-served
- Must have experience repairing plant machinery
- Based within the Lancashire area
- Happy to travel to client sites throughout the UK, including some nights away. These are planned in advance.
- Full UK Driving Licence

Position Remuneration
- Hourly rate £14.00 - £19.00 Depending on experience
- Overtime available paid at 1.5x
- Company van and fuel card (company use only)
- Travel expenses paid for
- Company social events
- Hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00, optional weekend overtime
- Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays
