Assistant Operations Manager

The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for managing the planning, co-ordination and control of manufacturing, assembly and storage processes and the welfare of all operational staff.
- Agree goals, objectives and targets for the site and individuals
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and site walk arounds in conjunction with the Site Supervisor
- Develop and update risk assessments to manage risks.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental guidelines are always followed
- Responsible for the site, including COMAH obligations and other requirements.
- Ensure down time is minimised.
- Carry out performance appraisals of all direct reports
The Assistant Operations Manager will need to be:
- Experienced working within COMAH Regulations OR have experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Must have some Health and Safety Training of some degree.
- Have people and team management experience and able to demonstrate this.
