Salary: Up to £70,000 + 5% bonus
Location: London (hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in the office)

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Procurement Analyst join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations

You will be instrumental in improving procurement data, identifying and addressing data gaps, and enhancing supplier relationship management (SRM) reporting. What you'll do:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in improving procurement processes through effective data management. Your primary responsibilities will include developing insightful dashboards, producing valuable insights from data analysis, creating compelling presentation materials for strategic meetings, and leveraging technology to automate tasks. You will also utilise advanced data visualisation techniques to present complex data in an understandable manner. Furthermore, you will support your colleagues by preparing and analysing procurement data.

  • Develop dashboards and other Management Information (MI) including supplier spend, SRM governance, and policy compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Produce insights from data analysis to add value to the function and business.
  • Create reporting and presentation collateral for use in strategic meetings.
  • Leverage technology to automate tasks and drive efficiency.
  • Use data visualisation methods to present data effectively, conveying key ideas or insights in an engaging way.
  • Support SRM colleagues by preparing and analysing available procurement data and supplier MI.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Procurement Analyst position brings a unique blend of skills and qualifications. You should have an A Level or equivalent Procurement & Supplier Management qualification or equivalent experience. A good understanding of SRM practices and strategies is essential. Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word is required along with a proven track record in data model design and reporting. Experience in Procurement or SRM functions would be beneficial. Above all else, we are looking for someone who can thrive in a team environment sharing ideas and best practice.

  • A Level or equivalent Procurement & Supplier Management qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Good understanding of SRM practices and strategies.
  • Proficiency: Advanced Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word; track record of success in data model design and reporting.
  • Some experience and/or exposure to Procurement or SRM functions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment sharing ideas and best practice.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
