Interim Finance Director | £700 - £950pd | Stockport | Temporary contract | Immediate Start
Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a well-established, privately-owned manufacturing and distribution business, seeking an interim Finance Director. This role offers a hybrid working model and is to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting
- Build relationships with banks, auditors, etc
- Manage cash flow
- Assist with business strategy development
- Provide financial assistance and due diligence for potential acquisitions
- Improve business processes and systems
- Assist with refinancing and potential future exits from a financial perspective
- Manage a sizeable finance team
About you
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience in a manufacturing business
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Experience in business sale processes is advantageous
- Ability to influence the board and provide strategic financial insights
- Excellent staff management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
