Environmental Manager

We are currently looking for an Environmental Manager to join our Civil Engineering Client. The role will be based out of Watford with a salary up to £65,000.
Responsibilities of Environmental Manager:
- Initiate and maintain systems to review and monitor compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 standards.
- Manage and oversee monitoring equipment, collect, process and interpret data (e.g. water, dust, noise, waste)
- Conduct Environmental Site inspections, highlighting any bad and good practice to the relevant teams and Senior Management
- Ensure that the Project Environmental Management System is implemented and operated on site through a programme of checking and auditing.
- Record and report all incidents - instigate any actions required.
- Prepare monthly environmental reports
- Regularly report progress against environmental compliance, and environmental targets
- Develop appropriate measures to deal with environmental risks
- Produce, review and update the Project Environmental Management Plan - EMP (and associated plans) on a regular basis
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client representatives
Requirements for Environmental Manager
- Experience with either a consulting engineer, civil engineering contractor or a specialist environmental contractor.
- Knowledge of all aspects of environmental design and works.
- Member of IEMA and working towards chartered status
- Full UK Driving Licence
