Altum is partnering with a dedicated children's charity to recruit a dynamic Finance Planning Implementation Lead for a period of 9-months, with the potential to be extended. The role will support the implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting software tool which should be decided by the end of June and successfully implemented by December 2024.
Key Activities:
- Lead the selection and implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting tool.
- Update budgeting and planning tool requirements and processes.
- Serve as the main contact with potential and selected vendors.
- Oversee implementation, testing, support, and training for the new tool.
- Collaborate with Finance and Systems teams on data requirements.
- Ensure integration with the current accounting system.
- Create user-friendly documentation for the new tool.
- Manage the project plan and coordinate updates.
- Work with various teams and the vendor for seamless implementation.
- Develop new templates, tools, and processes.
- Design, develop, and test new finance reports.
- Perform other duties to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in leading the implementation of budgeting and forecasting software tools e.g. Adaptive Insights, Anaplan
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial principles.
