BAND 6 CPN HYBRID PERINATAL ROLE - NORTH YORKSHIRE - 3 MONTH CONTRACT
Band 6 CPN Hybrid Perinatal Role based in North Yorkshire area . This is a full time position Hybrid working Monday - Friday from 9-5pm averaging around 37.5 hours per week. The rate for this role is £25 hour. This role will be starting in 2 weeks time and it will be minimum of 3 month contract however can be extended up to 6 months.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) in a perinatal role is to provide specialized mental health care to women and their families during pregnancy and the postnatal period. This role aims to address the unique mental health needs that can arise during this time, offering support, intervention, and education to ensure the well-being of both mother and child.

A Day in the Life of a Registered Mental Health Nurse:
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, your pivotal role will involve delivering essential NHS community mental health services. Your duties will encompass:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status.
- Administering medications and monitoring their effects on patients.
- Providing therapeutic interventions such as counseling and behavioral therapies.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Offering emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC.
- Proven experience within a community recovery role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Past experience in CMHT.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible. This Contract is for 3 months.
