RSR Housing are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hemel Hempstead for a Tenancy Management & Enforcement Team Coordinator.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of tenancy management services, ensuring that these services are delivered within the Council's framework of quality standards, performance targets, budgetary control and legislative requirements. Support the Assistant Director, Group Manager and Team Leader as part of the service team, in delivering the corporate vision, values and strategic priorities of the Council.

Pay rate: £12.73 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Temporary contract - 6 months - with the possibility to become permanent

Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid)

Main Duties:

  • Support the team to deliver an effective and efficient tenancy management and enforcement service to Dacorum Council's tenants, adhering to the Council's and Housing Services standards, targets and procedures.
  • Ensure all the incoming mail is distributed to the appropriate officers or departments accordingly.
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints from tenants, staff and other customers and provide appropriate information and advice.
  • Arrange payments using ePCS is a purchasing card and process purchase orders and payment requisitions using our associated systems.
  • Attend meetings associated with the service as required and take accurate minutes and ensure these are distributed in a timely manner, including for other teams across housing when required, in order to maintain adequate administrative cover.
  • Support the Tenancy Management and Enforcement Officers in carrying out a number of key tenancy enforcement duties in line with relevant legislation, through collaborative working.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining, installing and periodically testing the sound monitoring equipment.
  • Ensure tenancy records are accurate and comprehensively maintained and processed in line with GDPR legislation and the Council's data retention policy.
  • Support the Tenancy Management and Enforcement Team Leader and Lead Officers in respect of service delivery, key performance indicators and targets.

Essential Requirements:

  • Good standard of general education, with qualifications at GCSE level A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • High level of IT literacy including the full range of Microsoft Office applications and an ability to learn other new systems
  • One years' experience working in a front-line customer facing role
  • One years' experience in housing management with a Local Authority Housing Department or Housing Association
  • Available to work outside of normal office hours
  • Satisfactory check with the Disclosure and Barring service
