The firm is seeking a talented and motivated Trade Mark Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in trademark law, but my client is open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation
- Provide strategic advice to clients on trademark protection and enforcement strategies
- Conduct trademark searches and analyses to assess availability and potential risks
- Draft and negotiate trademark-related agreements, including license agreements and coexistence agreements
- Represent clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before trademark offices
Qualifications:
- Qualified Trade Mark Attorney with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong academic credentials with a law degree from a reputable institution
- Experience handling trademark matters across multiple jurisdictions is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
