Position: Data Scientist
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits

A leading public sector consultancy based in Milton Keynes is looking to hire a skilled Data Scientist on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite to support critical on-premises tasks.
Security Clearance: Candidates must hold active Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with data-driven projects leveraging Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Utilize data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau to translate data insights.
- Apply NLP models, including Transformers and Huggingface, for advanced data analysis.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
- Hands-on expertise with NLP, Transformers, and Huggingface.
- Familiarity with Docker & Docker-Compose.
