West Group Technical Services specialise in providing high-quality security solutions for businesses of all sizes. From securing exits and entranceways, offering customised fabrication and automation services, they are dedicated to ensuring that their clients feel safe and always protected.

WGTS are currently seeking a Digital Support Apprentice to join our team in providing essential support to our office operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient Digital processes. This is a full time onsite role, based in Killearn, Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for customers in person and on the phone, handling enquiries and booking appointments
  • By the end of your apprenticeship you will be an expert in Sage Accounting Software. You will use this software to send invoices to clients
  • Become a super user of Quickbooks where you become a pro in financial record-keeping and ensure that cash flow within the business remains consistent
  • Managing a centralised email inbox and distribute correspondence as required
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and equipment, ordering supplies when required

Required skills:

  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic PC literacy including competency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Prior experience in an office environment is advantageous

Salary:

£14,560 per annum, with salary increase after 3 month probation.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with 30 minute paid lunch break
