Joining our Marketing Team, you'll have an exciting opportunity to create real meaning in consumers' lives through all touchpoints, demonstrating your creativity, precision, artworking & photography skills with a ‘can-do' attitude.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating and designing branded packaging for existing and new product development working to a Brand Playbook but demonstrating your own creativity, flair and eye for detail
  • Creating still, video, stop-motion animations and GIFs for our social media accounts
  • Helping to execute our 3-year brand plan to disrupt the category, getting consumers to reappraise dried fruit nuts & seeds as a result of understanding their immense nutrient power by creating impactful content/design.
  • Working closely with multiple departments within Whitworths but also award-winning external creative, design and print agencies to ensure excellence of execution of our Brand Playbook.

Skills and experience you'll need:

  • Degree, HND or Industry Qualification in Graphic Design & Photography or similar
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar field either full-time or part time as part of your studies
  • Experience of developing conceptual creative pack designs working from a creative brief and supported by brand guidelines
  • Experience of artworking creative pack designs to a point it is ready to release to a printer for repro.
  • Excellent knowledge of the ADOBE family of software, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent platforms widely used across industry)
  • Self-motivated to learn new skills in accordance with the creative needs of the brand and business
  • Well organised with the ability to manage your own workload, delivering work on time and to a high standard
  • Good communication skills - ability to influence at all levels and cross functional teams
  • Flexible approach to tasks which will vary from pure creative development to artwork execution and internal ad hoc communications.
