Role overview

Introduction to the role:

This is a full mix role, providing proactive marketing support to the Health Business Group.

You will work closely with the Health Business Partner and Health fee earners as well as drawing on specialist skills from within the Business Development and Marketing (BD&M) team and other parts of the firm, co-ordinating these individuals so the fee earners receive a single point of liaison and a ‘joined up' service and delivery.

You will have an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing activity to a high value part of the business, where you will hold key relationships with internal clients - dealing with fee earners in all our UK offices. The work is fast paced and varied and brings an excellent opportunity to continue to learn and apply your business development skills.

You will be part of the BD&M team and will report to the Health Business Partner. Although the focus of this role is to be a point of contact for Health, all members of the wider BD&M team are expected to support the work of the widerbusiness development and marketing plans and other parts of the firm as needed.

Key responsibilities:

Relationship and Stakeholder Management

  • Assisting the Health Business Partner with drafting, developing, and implementing plans.
  • Facilitate the execution of plans through communicating with and effectively delegating activity to the wider BD&M team.
  • Acting as a single point of contact between the wider BD&M team and the fee earners, providing a joined-up service and delivery.

Reporting and MI

  • Report on progress against plans, communicating effectively and regularly with key stakeholders to manage expectations and gain input as appropriate to ensure progress.
  • Support the Health Business Partner to prepare and issue monthly MI pack to the Health senior management team.

Day-to-day Marketing

  • Co-ordinate agreed "always on" Health marketing activity such as events, e-newsletters and articles liaising with wider BD&M team and fee earners as appropriate.
  • Ensure website, intranet and other Health marketing collateral are up to date and fit for purpose.
  • Build relationships with external bodies such as conference organisers
  • Work closely with Health Business Partner to ensure a smooth new partner induction and onboarding process
  • Support Health on cross-Business Group marketing and BD initiatives.

New Business and Client Development

  • Work with CRM team, Health Business Partner and Health fee earners to cleanse and maintain client and non-client data and marketing lists, facilitating the process between Health and BD&M

Campaigns and Project Management

  • Work closely with Health Business Partner to provide assistance on marketing projects and campaigns as required.
