Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire (Hybrid working available)
On offer: £35-50,000 DoE plus benefits

The company is dedicated to transforming traditional petrol stations into modern service hubs, offering products like car washes, electric vehicle charging points, and groceries. You can now join this great business as EV Programme Lead. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the efficient administration of the company's EV business. Reporting to the EV Technical Manager, you will support the entire implementation team, providing administrative continuity from site conception to completion and handing operation.

Responsibilities Included:
- Act as the first point of contact for EV electrical design queries for all internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Keep track of the latest actions to provide an accurate and comprehensive overview of projects.
- Update trackers and project folders, superseding old design revisions and communicating any changes to all key stakeholders.
- Collate responses to RFIs from contractors to start the pre-construction design process.
- Instruct, coordinate, and review designs received from contractors, ensuring they are feasible, designed as instructed, and to the latest revision of the company's site plan.
- Manage contractor tender and allocation process for earthing studies and installations.
- Procure and monitor stock of packaged substations, including production schedule, site allocation, and invoicing.
- Facilitate the tender and award of IDNO's (Independent Distribution Network Operator) and subsequent recovery of asset values following the energisation of power supplies.
- Accurately raise and maintain purchase orders to allow correct allocation of assets and costs.
- Work closely with project managers, legal counsel, and external contractors to seamlessly integrate power connection activities within project timelines, identifying and communicating any risks.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all processes.

Skills and Attributes:
- Previous industry experience is beneficial.
- Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
- Strong communication skills to enable clear, concise, high-quality work.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deal with competing demands for time and attention.
- Excellent attention to detail with a friendly, helpful and 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong PC literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel.
