Our client is seeking a motivated Production Assistant to join their team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in their manufacturing process, contributing to various stages from mechanical assembly to final product preparation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in hands-on work and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring products are assembled accurately and efficiently.
- Support hydrotesting procedures, including setup and monitoring of equipment.
- Participate in heating element preparation, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Assist with wiring, following technical guidelines and specifications.
- Contribute to the preparation and cleaning down of finished products, maintaining a tidy and organised work environment.
Skills Required:
- Some knowledge of hand tools, with the ability to effectively utilise them in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
In-house training will be provided to familiarise the successful candidate with company specific processes and equipment, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their role.
