We are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a dynamic team within the Food, Beverage, & Tobacco industry. Our client, a global manufacturer and supplier of flavourings, extracts, and essences, is dedicated to creating impactful taste solutions that drive brand innovation and delight consumers. As a key player on their team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of the organisation.

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's orders across UK sites and with their overseas partners. With impeccable attention to detail, you will process orders, respond to customer queries, and manage the logistics to ensure efficient delivery. Juggling multiple tasks at once, you will provide fast and accurate information to customers and work closely with the commercial team on pricing and minimum order quantities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage orders across various sites and overseas partners.
  • Provide fast and accurate responses to customer queries.
  • Ensure adherence to set process flows and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on pricing and logistics.
  • Maintain best-in-class information flow to customers regarding lead times.
  • Administer systems consistently and accurately.
  • Support colleagues within the department when needed.
  • Be the key contact for a select number of accounts for internal issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel and Word.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system.
