Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a renowned Medical Charity to recruit an Education and Events Executive.

The Medical Charity are seeking a dynamic and passionate Education and Events Executive to join the Medical Charity team on a 6-month contract.

Job Title: Education and Events Executive

Contract: 6 month contract

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week (flexible working within core hours)

Location: Central London, Hybrid

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage all aspects of the event cycle for educational programmes.
  • Actively seek sponsorships, manage relationships with sponsors, process invoices, and ensure strong partnerships for future investment.
  • Compile event budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and present financial updates.
  • Produce content for communication and marketing.
  • Liaise with course leads, manage faculty arrangements, and coordinate catering and venue hire.
  • Be the main point of contact for delegate queries, providing onsite support at events.
  • Follow up on events by disseminating certificates and presentations to attendees and producing detailed event reports.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Effective management of varied workloads.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to work independently, solving problems as they arise.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and other marketing tools.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Zoom Video Conferencing platform.
