About the Role:

Career Teachers is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher in the City of Derby. This role offers a unique opportunity to guide students through their final year of primary education, preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 6 students.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or similar age groups.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
