This office-based position will allow you complete autonomy within the work environment by heading up the new BIM department and developing its service offerings. The role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect BIM data, with which you will generate BIM documents and Models, using software like AutoCAD Revit and BIM360, to a high standard ready to be used by project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and developing and exploring opportunities to implement BIM strategies into the wider business.

The ideal candidate will come from a BIM background, ideally from the Civil/Structural industries. They will have extensive experience working with Revit & AutoDesk and preferably will have experience using BIM360 or related software. The candidate will preferably be educated within a relevant discipline & will have management experience, but BIM experience will outweigh this.

The Role:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project LOD requirements and modeling standards.
  • Provide Revit/BIM support, execute clash detection, and develop BIM Execution Plans to optimize project coordination and efficiency.
  • Develop the BIM service offerings to ensure the optimization of BIM Implementation strategies.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure BIM-related work is completed to the highest standards whilst being delivered on time.

The Person:

  • Prior experience within a BIM-related role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Revit & AutoDesk within BIM services.
  • Ideally will be formally educated within a relevant BIM discipline.
