Accountant

- Salary: £15.00- £25.00 per hour dependant on experience and level of expertise.
An established accountancy practice is seeking a temporary Accountant or Bookkeeper to join their team for a 2-month period. We are open to candidates at a senior level with qualifications or those at a bookkeeper level with experience in processing invoices and receipts. The role involves preparing accounts on behalf of clients using Iris software.
Day to Day of the role:
- Processing client invoices and receipts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Preparing accounts and financial statements for a diverse client portfolio.
- Utilising Iris software to maintain and manage financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
- Communicating with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a high standard of financial management and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping within an accountancy practice.
- Familiarity with Iris software is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- For senior-level applicants, a relevant accounting qualification is required.
